VIBRATION MICROTOME

HM 650 V Automatic microtome with vibrating blade for fixed and unfixed tissue in histology and neurology as well as for non-biological specimen in material science.

Product Folder The HM 650 V offers an setting range of blade amplitude between 0,1 and 1,2 mm and frequency between 30 and 100 Hz. Both parameters can be set independently from each other. All parameters can be set via the integrated control panel. It features logically arranged keys and 4-line LC-display to enable intuitive operation. The memory function enables rapid approach of the blade towards the first cut position. The HM 650 V provides excellent sectioning performance.

Vibration Microtome supplement - CU 65 MICROM CU 65 cooling unit for the tem-perature stabilization of the  buffer solution in the buffer tray of the HM 650 V.

CU 65 – the efficient supplement for the Microm HM 650 V microtome with vibrating blade for working with a constant temperature.

For optimal preservation and stabilization of tissue, the temperature range is between –2°C and ambient temperature.

Concerning native tissue, better sectioning results can be obtained in neuro, electro-physiological and botanic application areas. A deeper temperature is also of advantage allowing thinner sections in immuno- histochemistry and for the fluorescent microscopy.
